The Missoula County Airport Authority (MCAA) was formed in 1977 as an independent Authority of the County of Missoula, Montana to manage the day-to-day operations of the Missoula International Airport, and to address the region’s long-term air transportation needs. The Authority, led by a Board of Commissioners, is responsible for the operation, maintenance, expansion, and long-term planning of the Missoula International Airport.

The Missoula Airport Traffic Control Tower is an FAA contract control tower operated by SERCO Management Services, Inc. The tower operates daily between the hours of 6:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m.
