VISITORS INFORMATION CENTER
NOW OPEN AT MISSOULA INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT
The Center will Aid Travelers & Visitors and
Promote Tourism and Business
MISSOULA, MT. (December 13, 2011) Missoula International Airport announced today that a new Visitors Information Center is now open in the main lobby of the Airport Terminal.
The Center has a two-fold purpose: (1) aid travelers and visitors to the Airport terminal and (2) provide information about Missoula and surrounding communities in the region to tourists and business travelers. The Airport’s Visitors Information Center is staffed by Volunteer Ambassadors.
Four Missoula-based organizations - the Missoula Area Chamber of Commerce, Destination Missoula, Glacier Country Regional Tourism, and the Missoula Downtown Association – have formed a collaboration to assist the Airport in the development of the Center.

Projects at Missoula International Airport are funded by federal grants, Passenger Facility Charges, or Airport reserves, or a combination thereof. The Airport does not receive local tax dollars. Currently four airlines, Alaska, Allegiant, Delta, and United, have operations at Missoula International Airport. Nonstop flights are offered to ten destinations: Chicago*, Denver, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Minneapolis, Phoenix-Mesa, Portland*, Salt Lake City, San Francisco*, and Seattle.
