United Airlines to Initiate Service to San Francisco June 14, 2008!
Missoula International Airport (April 14, 2008) - If you left your heart in San Francisco, then there's good news from United Airlines and the Missoula International Airport. Beginning June 14, 2008, United Airlines will offer non-stop service to San Francisco International Airport (SFO) for the full summer season. These weekly flights are scheduled to depart the Missoula Airport Sunday mornings and will return to Missoula Saturday evening.
When asked about this new service, Airport Director Cris Jensen stated,"We are excited to enter the California market with this flight. With eight of our top twenty-five destination markets in California, we believe this route will be the first step toward daily service to the Golden State."
In fact, this new service follows a trend United has adopted in introducing new service at airports across the country. In this model, weekend service is first introduced and, if sucessful after a trial period, may then be increased to daily service. Chicago (ORD) service by United at Missoula followed this exact pattern, in fact, and what was weekend service to Chicago last summer is now daily service from Missoula this summer.
Airport Director Jensen said, "It's important that this service is successful. It must be use by the community and we must show that the demand is there for direct flights from Missoula to California. If people use the service, we just may have daily service to California by next summer."
United Express Flight 6194 will depart Missoula International Airport Sunday mornings at 6:30 AM and will arrive in San Francisco at 7:56 AM. Aircraft type: Canadair Regional Jet CRJ-200.
United Express Flight 6206 will depart San Francisco International Airport Saturday evenings at 5:50 PM and arrive in Missoula at 8:39 PM. Aircraft type: Canadair Regional Jet CRJ-200.

United Airlines Adds Non-Stop Boeing 737 Service to Denver!
Missoula International Airport (April 14, 2008) - In addition to our new service to San Francisco, United Airlines recently initiated daily, non-stop service from Missoula International Airport to Denver (DIA). The new schedule will be effective April 7, 2008.
United Airlines Flight 368 will depart Missoula International Airport daily at 7:00 AM and arrive in Denver at 9:01 AM. Aircraft type: Boeing 737-300 or 737-500.
United Airlines Flight 379 will depart Denver International Airport daily at 5:50 PM and arrive in Missoula at 7:54 PM. Aircraft type: Boeing 737-300 or 737-500.
