Runway 7/25 Project
Runway 7/25 Construction Closure (AIP 46) We are sorry, but the 2008 construction season has not ended yet! Beginning October 14th, Runway 7/25 will be closed. A complete upgrade of the existing lighting system will begin, and the deteriorating shoulders removed. Topsoil will be added, reshaped and sealed. Our goal is to complete this project in the 2008 construction season, and should take 60 days. Access to Runway 11/29 for Minuteman East (Maintenence), Aerotronics and Washington Group will be as follows: Taxiway C2 will remain open, cross Runway 7/25 to Taxiway B1, then across the Neptune ramp to Taxiway Delta. This access will remain open at all times. Entry to the commercial ramp will be the same as it is currently with entry points at Taxiways Echo and Delta. Echo and Delta wll remain open at all times during commercial airline hours. The intersection of Runways 11/29 and 7/25 to Echo to the ramp will be closed intermittently during non-commercial hours only.
