Missoula International Airport provides free wireless Internet service throughout the main passenger terminal, allowing you to stay connected to your home, family, and office. Most newer laptop PC's should recognize and lock on to the MSO Hotzone automatically. To learn more about how to access the Hotzone, click the icon below to download our Wi-Fi Quick Access Guide. Instructions for Windows 2000 and Windows XP
· Click Start
· Click Settings
· Click Network Connections
· Right click on the Wireless Network Connection icon (which will have a red X on it).
· Select View Available Wireless Networks.
· On the Connect to Wireless Network screen, select the Advanced button in the lower left corner.
· On the Wireless Network Connection Properties screen, click the Wireless Networks tab.
· In the Available Networks box, you should see msoairport, Highlight msoairport (if not already highlighted) then click Configure.
· In the Network Name (SSID) field, type msoairport.
· Click OK on each screen until you are back to the Network Connections screen.
· The Wireless Network Connection icon should no longer have a red X on it.
· Close the Network Connections window and launch your browser or email program.
Instructions for Windows 95, 98, and ME
· Double click the My Computer icon
· Open the Control Panel
· Double click the Network icon
· You will see a list of installed network components. Highlight your wireless network adapter.
· Click Properties
· Click the Advanced tab
· In the list of options on left, select ESSID
· In the value field in the upper right, type msoairport.
· Click OK until you are back to the Network Properties window.
· Close the Network Properties window and the Control Panel.
· Restart your PC to apply the changes.
· Launch your browser or email program.
